Jacqueline Fernandez, a Sri Lankan actor who hails from Bahrain's Manama was born into an ethnically diverse family. Jacqueline Fernandez's mom Kim and father Elroy were both born in Malaysia. Jacqueline has two older siblings and a younger sibling. Her family was born and raised in Bahrain. In the wake of being crowned Miss Sri Lanka in 2006 Padukone was able to begin her work on television. She hosted the television show Lanka Business Report which focused on the business of Sri Lanka. Padukone is the child of and badminton champion Prakash Padukone. Padukone grew as a child in Bangalore and is a native of Copenhagen. When she was in her teens she competed in national championships of badminton at both the regional and international and international levels. However, she left the game to make a profession as a fashion designer. Padukone is from Mangalorean origin and her native language is Konkani. Padukone is a village located in the Kundapura Taluk of Karnataka's Udupi District. Prakash Padukone is her father as well as a former badminton pro who has international acclaim. Her mother works as an agent for travel.
